This light fixture features a porcelain insulated socket, heavy gauge metal guard, and a strong clamp with a rubber grip for added security. The wire cage will not retain heat like an aluminum dome fixture would, which makes this a great fixture to use in large reptile cages for iguanas, snakes, lizards, tortoises and more!
